Hi,
Hi,
I'm Lena
& the founder of UNPACKED, former COO, and someone who left a picture-perfect life behind to finally build one that felt like mine. Today, I create spaces where people can do the same: unpack what isn’t theirs to carry, and reconnect with who they really are.
My UNPACKED Philosophy
I think we’re not only travelers when we’re moving across the world. But we’re travelers all the time. Some journeys happen across countries. Some happen within ourselves.
UNPACKED is the practice of unpacking yourself. That’s why all the formats I offer follow a 5-step Philosophy:
ARRIVE – MEET -UNPACK – LET GO – RECONNECT
It’s not about becoming more or better, but less. And back to what you already are.
Because most of us carry things we never really looked at: expectations, roles, fears, beliefs about who we’re supposed to be. And somewhere underneath all of that is a version of us that’s just… real.
UNPACKED isn’t about self-optimization. It’s not about becoming a version you really love.. It’s about creating space — through movement, honest words, shared experiences, journeys, and personal guidance — to unpack what isn’t yours, and reconnect with what is.
The Mission
UNPACKED exists to help people get rid of the beliefs and ideas of who they should be, to find their way back to what’s already within them and what really feels right. Through unpacking ourselves, we create a space of just being. A space where we can reconnect and build the foundation for a life that feels right again:
I believe transformation doesn’t happen through optimizing ourselves, thinking harder, or planning better — but through feeling, experiencing, and being truly seen, without roles, without masks. For me, this is travel and shared experiences with other people as an outer journey, and embodiment and reflection as an inner one. With the basis of honest words instead of perfect ones.
The mission is to create spaces — retreats, experiences, and honest conversations — where people can unpack what no longer serves them, to reconnect with what’s real.
The Values
- Depth: we go beneath what looks fine on the outside and see what's actually true underneath.
- Curiosity: we look at what's underneath to learn from it, not to judge it. About ourselves and about each other. That's how masks come down and real connections become possible.
- Authenticity: we let go of masks and roles, meeting the version of ourselves that's actually there.
- Vulnerability: we show up as we are, even when it's the most exposed thing to do.
- Love: we create from love, not fear — even when fear is still part of the process.
All these values aren’t something I’ve mastered — they’re values we practice, together. I’m on this path myself, not ahead of it. This isn’t about being perfect. It’s about being real.
My Journey
From tough business woman to space-holder, host, and creator — that’s the short version of a much longer journey. And at the heart of it all, there was always travel.
Travelling was always my biggest passion in life — so big that I turned it into my job when I decided to study tourism management. What I didn’t know back then: that travel made me so happy because it created a space to connect in so many different ways, explore myself, challenge myself, and always learn something new.
When I started working, I worked at a deal portal for several years, reaching a high position within a few years. I loved leading people and developing new ideas within a team. When the company didn’t grow enough for what I wanted, I switched companies and started working for a luxury travel start-up. My journey continued — I worked harder and very soon reached the position of COO, bringing together all my skills: organizing and structuring things, developing creative concepts, leading people, and seeing the bigger picture.
While I was so focused on achieving my goals in life, I started to craft a life that got more fancy every month. My travels got more fancy, my apartment, and also my style. At one point, I was looking at myself, not knowing who I had turned into. Somewhere on the way to becoming a COO and being in the luxury industry, I had lost my identity. My joy. I realized it while travelling — instead of having fun, I was crying most of the time. I knew I needed to get out of my job and find the parts of myself I had lost.
Just looking at how I travelled already gave me the answer: I’d lost the joy in it, because being in luxury hotels all the time took away my curiosity and the deep connection travel gave me. So I knew the one thing that would help me most was travelling. So I went on a 9-month world trip that finally connected me with myself in a way that changed my perspective forever. I left my fiancé from a 11-year relationship, went on another trip, and then left Berlin to finally live abroad.
My own healing journey already began earlier, in 2021, when I started working with therapists, healers, and shamans, let myself be guided by mentors, and found in yoga a practice that connects me with my mind, and in dancing a practice that connects me with my body. Step by step, I learned to recognize my patterns, calm my nervous system, shift my energies, and take responsibility for my inner experience.
Through all of this, I realized how many people feel the same way — that something is off, that they don’t know what they want anymore, or that they aren’t brave enough to take the next step. That’s why I created UNPACKED: a space where we can unpack ourselves, layer by layer, in order to just be — and with that, find reconnection to our true self. It’s the space I was always searching for — where I can truly be myself, without roles, where I feel seen and understood, where we create a feeling of connection and, with that, belonging.
Because after going through all of this: only when you’re reconnected to yourself can you build a life that finally feels aligned for you. Or better said — a life built out of love and from your heart.

More about me
Beyond all of this: I’m just a normal girl. I like to dance to Spanish music until late, sing karaoke to the funniest songs, go on travel adventures, drive with the windows open, try new sports like surfing, write my thoughts down as soon as they come to my brain at any time of day, go on dates, create fun memories with friends, try all different types of food, and get creative with cooking — and in all of that, feel too much sometimes.
I love yoga and live by different philosophies that are all connected to a conscious life. I am very curious, and my favorite state of mind is learning something new every day. I love astrology, psychology, and everything that’s somehow connected to a spiritual life. At the same time, I love being loud, crazy, and just fun. I’m trying to live an unpolished life. I’m also still trying to live a real unpacked life, but it’s a process. And that’s why I’m not the always-aligned mentor. I’m here to be imperfect, to just live life by its depth and beauty. And meanwhile, I’m still figuring things out as I go. But I go. Unfinished, but real. And that’s exactly the point I share in my work.

What Makes My Work Different
I bring together two worlds that rarely meet: human connection and operational excellence. As a facilitator, I understand people — emotions, group dynamics, belonging, connection. As a former COO, I understand systems — logistics, participant journeys, structure, execution. I don’t just hold space; I design it, plan it, and make sure it actually works. That combination is rare, and it’s exactly what makes the spaces I create feel both deeply human and genuinely well-crafted.
What I Offer
I want to share what I’ve learned about what connection really means, and create a space where you can experience this too.
At UNPACKED, I bring together everything I’ve learned myself and all the things that healed me — that’s why I offer spaces where you can meet yourself again. This happens through inner work, or through connection with what’s around you — in the following ways:
EXPERIENCES
I offer different experiences to explore the proccess of unpacking in a light way: through movement, gatherings and workshops.
JOURNEYS
I offer Journeys that help you to really unpack for several days. This can be a community trip to Colombia, a private Retreat or a spiritual one to really let go of beliefs.
1:1 GUIDANCE
In a safe space I offer a 1:1 Guidance over a several time-frame to give you a space to relax and just be. And unpack step by step along the journey.
HONEST WORDS
In share my honest words in the newsletter, on Instagram, and hopefully soon in my own book and podcast.
More Of My Thoughts & Experiences
What looks like a normal party, somehow didn’t feel like a normal party for me.
Without realising it, this party happened exactly 3 months after I took my flight to Spain to start a new chapter here. And without realising it, this party showed me exactly why I left Berlin and what I’ve already gained here.
An environment where I can easily show all versions of myself and explore them even further. An environment where I finally feel like I can be myself.
I always wished I could throw a party like this in Berlin, but there was never really a way to do it that didn’t feel hard. Here it came so easily by just sharing my passion with @allleskaese & @kiminlatinamerica. 💘🥺
For me it was the first time in a loooong while that I brought together so many things I really love: bathing under the sun with friends in the pool, putting on my favourite music and making people dance, reading Tarot for so many of them, dancing myself and alongside others Salsa and Bachata, barefoot. But also just organising this party, and bringing together so many different, beautiful, open and curious people. It felt like such a huge gift that it’s still hard for me to believe what just happened there. That this became possible. 🥹
I always said I leave Germany to move towards what lets me feel alive, and towards what lets me really feel like me and this party let me feel exactly like that.
But I know it’s not about the party itself. It’s about the environment I’ve already built here, the people I’m in contact with, who share my passions, who love to co-create too, and who are all searching for the same thing: deep connection.
And that’s maybe what touched me the most besides all the valuing messages after. When a friend said, at the end: „Me, two years ago, wouldn’t have thought I’d be in a place like this. To feel this connected.“ And well, so many of us felt the same in the moment.
Also me, two years ago, wouldn’t have believed that either. And maybe that’s why we all felt so connected that day: because we all left home for the same reason. To find exactly what we found there: deep connection, belonging, fun, and aliveness. 😭🤍
A weekend that felt like a little fever-dream 🥺🤍 So grateful for these amazing women in my life and that we can show so many different, vulnerable, and open sides of ourselves! ✨🫶🏽
Even though we’ve known each other for over 10 years, it feels like ever since I broke up with my relationship last year, this bond got stronger and stronger. Every time we meet and spend time together, things get somehow more intense, and I love everything about that!! 😭
From cuddling in the morning, getting wild by night, sharing tears, getting tattoos, eating the most delicious food, to speaking about our greatest fears.
I think deep women’s friendships are one of the most beautiful things in life, because they show me that it’s already enough. That no matter how much I’m longing for a partner, a friendship like this can give me things a partner could not give me in the same way. And somehow it is so healing between women to create a space where we don’t judge each other and feel really safe to show everything and speak the truth.
And while I wasn’t able to go that deep in my friendships during my relationship, as I was so afraid to show myself vulnerable, I am so, so, so glad I’m finally discovering this so profoundly. 🤍🥺
There is nothing more beautiful than bringing people together under a full moon to unpack together what is in us, letting go what we don’t want to carry with us and connect with ourselves but especially the people around. 🤍
I loved how we started meditating, journaling, releasing while ending up talking for hours, watching the moon, bathing in the moonlight and having some cuddles.
I think there lies so much power in sharing rituals like this in a group, elevating us together to another level of trust 🫶🏽 so that life can surprise us with all its magic 💫
And yesterday somehow felt extra magical as this full moon & eclipse is about a permanent ending of a story we used to tell us since the past 2 years. So I invited the group to look back, see from where we grew since than and see this moon as an reset to finally let go what‘s making us smaller.
If you want to reflect as well, here are the questions we journaled about:
- What or who is not supporting my belief and trust? And what or who is not helping me step into my higher self?
- How would my highest version of myself be, act, live, love and work?
& then write on a paper „The story I am leaving behind is: …“. Tear it and if you want even burn it 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Better things are on its way when we trust and allow to receive whatever it’s already on its way! ✨
Didn’t do a recap in a while because meanwhile I started to love this little life here I am creating. The spontaneous encounters with friends, the time alone at the beach, the sober dancing until 2am in the night, the co-working sessions and this beautiful neighbourhood.
So this was the journey from being overwhelmed, navigating through lots of challenged and emotions to something that starting to feel right. At least for the moment.
Let’s see where this is going hehe ✨🤍
Sharing this for everyone who feels the same, is in the process or has already felt the same way.
When we broke up there was not only fear but also so much shame involved. Shame about not doing it the right way. Shame that we didn’t make it. Shame about what I felt.
Looking back, I realize that there is no right way to do it when you decide on that as a couple. Every journey is so individual that we should not look at how other people do it, or even listen to how it “should” be. Breaking up is a shitty process anyway, so at least you can do it on your own terms. And I am glad we did it that way, even if we could have made our life easier by facing the reality a little earlier. But somehow we were not ready for it. And that’s also ok. Because at least it brought us to the fact that we worked so much on our relationship that we still came out of it as a team and not as enemies.
When you ask your girlfriends for a night out and they start asking friends as well, so you and up in a powerful group of 8 amazing women dancing, having fun and enjoying life. 🤍
We didn’t have a plan before, everything just came so natural. And I think this is one of the reasons I moved here: this feeling of easyness, openness and deep connection. 🥹 feeling extra grateful for this 🫶🏽
Little reminder to all my beuatiful women out there: wear what you want!
I always been afraid of being too much. Too loud, too this, too that, but especially too sexy. But whyyyyy?
I love dressing like this, I love dancing and I feel even more me with a cute outfit while dancing.
And with not doing it I was hiding myself so much. THIS is real freedom!
So embracing just wearing what we want and feel ✨
That’s how it looks like when 5 witches are coming together creating a space somewhere between eating, laughing, dancing, crying, cuddling, relaxing, moving, doing rituals, drinking aperol and playing at the beach like kids. I love this group of women that deeply listen to each other, share the most vulnerable things but still laugh and can have fun to the max. Grateful also to found a tribe I can be me in so many versions 🤍
